Can I cancel the pending withdrawal?

Introduction

This article explains whether a pending withdrawal can be cancelled on Coinlocally and under what conditions cancellation is no longer possible. Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, cancellation is only possible in very limited situations.

In most cases, you cannot cancel a withdrawal once a TxID has been generated.

When the transaction is already broadcast to the blockchain, it becomes irreversible and cannot be stopped or reversed by Coinlocally or any other platform.

If the withdrawal is still in an early “Pending” stage and no TxID has been created yet, cancellation may be possible — but this depends on system processing and is not guaranteed.

Important notes

  • Once a TxID appears, the withdrawal cannot be cancelled.
  • Blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be reversed.
  • If the withdrawal is stuck in “Pending” for an unusually long time, it may be due to system or network delays rather than a cancellable state.

What you can do

  • Check whether a TxID has been generated.
  • If no TxID is visible yet, you may contact support to see if cancellation is still possible.
  • If a TxID exists, you must wait for the transaction to complete.
