Introduction

This article explains how to update the email address linked to your Coinlocally account through the official website. You will need access to both your old and new email addresses, as well as your Google Authenticator code if enabled.

How to change your email address on the website

Step 1: Log in

Visit the official Coinlocally website and log in to your account.

Step 2: Open the Security section

Click your profile icon and go to the Security section.

Step 3: Select “Change Email”

Tap the Change button next to the Email Verification option.

Step 4: Enter your new email

Type your new email address, then tap Get Code to receive a verification code.

Step 5: Verify your old email

Tap Get Code again to receive a verification code on your current email address.

Step 6: Enter your Google Authenticator code

If 2FA is enabled, enter your Google verification code.

Step 7: Confirm the change

Click Change Email to complete the process.

Your email address has now been successfully updated.

Additional notes

• After changing your email, withdrawals will be temporarily suspended for 12 hours for security reasons.
• Always use a secure, accessible email address.
• Keep your 2FA enabled for maximum protection.

Common Issues

• Not receiving verification codes may indicate email provider delays.
• Incorrect Google Authenticator codes will block the update.
