This article explains how to reset your Coinlocally account password using either the mobile application or the official website. You will need access to your registered email or phone number, and if enabled, your Google Authenticator code.

How to reset your password on the Coinlocally application

Step 1: Open the app

Launch the Coinlocally app and tap Log In in the bottom‑right corner.

Step 2: Tap “Forgot Password”

On the login screen, tap the Forgot Password button.

Step 3: Enter your registered email or phone number

Type the email address or mobile number associated with your account, then tap Next.

Step 4: Enter verification codes

Tap Send, then enter the OTP sent to your email or phone.

If you have enabled Google Authenticator, enter your Google verification code as well.

Tap Confirm to proceed.

Step 5: Set a new password

Create a new password for your account and tap Confirm to complete the process.

Your password has now been successfully reset. Use your new password to log in to your Coinlocally account.

How to reset your password on the Coinlocally website

Step 1: Visit the official website

Go to the official Coinlocally website and click Login in the top‑right corner.

Step 2: Click “Forgot Password?”

On the login page, click the Forgot Password? button.

Step 3: Enter your registered email or phone number

Type the email address or mobile number linked to your account, then click Next.

Step 4: Enter verification codes

Enter the OTP sent to your email or phone, then click Next to enter your Google Authenticator code (if enabled).

Step 5: Set a new password

Create a new password and click Confirm to finalize the reset.

Your password has been successfully reset. You can now log in using your new credentials.

Additional notes

• For security reasons, withdrawals will be temporarily suspended for 12 hours after changing your password.
• Always set a strong password containing uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
• Do not reuse your previous Coinlocally password.
• Keep your password safe and avoid sharing it with anyone.

• Entering an unregistered email or phone number will prevent password reset.
• OTP codes expire quickly—enter them promptly.
