Introduction

This article explains how to transfer funds from your Spot Wallet to your Futures Wallet on Coinlocally. You must complete this transfer before you can start trading Futures. The process is quick and can be done directly from the Futures trading interface.

Steps to transfer funds to your Futures Wallet

1. Open the Balance panel

• On the Futures trading interface, scroll down to the bottom-right corner.
• Locate the Balance panel and click the Transfer button.

2. Choose the asset type

• Select the cryptocurrency you want to transfer into your Futures Wallet.

3. Enter the transfer amount

• Type the amount you want to move from your Spot Wallet to your Futures Wallet.
• Click Confirm to complete the transfer.

4. Reverse the transfer (optional)

• If you want to transfer funds out of your Futures Wallet, click the Swap icon to switch the transfer direction.
• Enter the amount you want to move and click Confirm again.

Additional notes

• Transfers between Spot and Futures Wallets are instant.
• Make sure you have enough balance in your Spot Wallet before initiating a transfer.

Common Issues

• Insufficient Spot Wallet balance will prevent the transfer.
• Selecting the wrong asset type may cause confusion when checking your Futures balance.
• Forgetting to switch the transfer direction may result in moving funds the wrong way.
