How to Deposit Crypto Into Your Coinlocally Account?
Introduction
This article explains how to deposit cryptocurrency into your Coinlocally account safely and correctly. Following these steps ensures your funds arrive without issues and helps you avoid common mistakes such as selecting the wrong network or missing required tags.
Steps to make a deposit
1. Log in to your Coinlocally account
Visit the official Coinlocally website and log in using your registered credentials.
2. Open the Deposit page
Move your cursor to the Wallet icon and click Deposit.
3. Select the asset you want to deposit
Choose the cryptocurrency (e.g., BTC, USDT, ETH) you want to deposit.
4. Select the correct deposit network
Choose the blockchain network that matches the network you are withdrawing from.
For example:
- ERC20 → ERC20
- TRC20 → TRC20
- BSC → BSC
Using the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds.
5. Copy your deposit address
Your unique deposit address will be displayed. You can:
- Click Copy to copy the address
- Or use the QR Code to scan and deposit directly
Paste this address into the withdrawal field on the platform you are sending crypto from.
6. Wait for blockchain confirmation
After submitting the withdrawal request on the sending platform, the transaction will be processed.
Your funds will be credited to your Coinlocally account once the required blockchain confirmations are completed.
Additional notes
- Selecting the wrong network may cause irreversible loss of funds.
- Depositing a coin to an incompatible address may not be recoverable.
- Some assets require a Memo, Tag, Payment ID, or Message. If required, you must enter it correctly.
- Missing or incorrect tags may delay or prevent fund recovery.
- Coins like USDT support multiple networks. Always ensure the network matches on both platforms.
- Confirmation time varies depending on blockchain traffic and network conditions.
Common issues
- Sending funds on the wrong network
- Forgetting to include Memo/Tag for assets like XRP, XLM, or TON
