Why hasn’t my withdrawal arrived?

Introduction

This article explains the most common reasons why a withdrawal may not arrive in the destination wallet and what you can do to resolve the issue. Withdrawal delays can happen due to network conditions, incorrect details, or issues on the recipient platform.

Possible reasons your withdrawal hasn’t arrived

A withdrawal may fail or be delayed for several reasons. Some of the most common include:

  • The recipient platform does not support the coin or token you withdrew
  • The withdrawal was sent through a network that the recipient platform does not support
  • The asset requires a Memo/Tag, and it was entered incorrectly or not included
  • The amount sent is below the minimum deposit requirement of the receiving platform
  • The withdrawal address was entered incorrectly
  • The withdrawal is still pending or not yet confirmed on the blockchain
  • Temporary wallet maintenance on Coinlocally or the recipient platform
  • Large withdrawals may require manual review for security purposes
  • Network congestion may slow down blockchain confirmations

You can check the status of your transaction using the TxID on a blockchain explorer.

Always double‑check the destination address and network to ensure they match the requirements of the receiving platform.

Even after the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, some platforms may take additional time to credit the funds. The number of required confirmations varies depending on the blockchain.

Note: The withdrawal page only displays networks supported by Coinlocally. Withdrawing through unsupported networks may result in permanent loss of assets.

Additional notes

  • Always verify the correct network before confirming a withdrawal
  • Ensure the recipient platform supports the asset and network you selected
  • Keep your TxID available in case support assistance is needed

Common issues

  • Wrong network: The receiving platform does not support the selected chain
  • Missing Memo/Tag: Required for certain assets; missing or incorrect tags prevent crediting
  • Incorrect address: Funds sent to the wrong address cannot be reversed
  • Pending withdrawal: The request is still being processed
  • Network delays: High traffic can slow down confirmations
